The JCE is the Junior Certificate Examination. Students write it at the end of junior secondary school, in Form 3. It is a key exam before senior school. Like other local exams it is set by the Botswana Examinations Council (BEC), so check the official notice for the current papers and rules.
Students usually write several subjects. That means planning your weeks matters as much as knowing the content.
It is for Form 3 students who want to take charge of their own revision. You may find the work harder than Form 1 and 2, or you may be strong in most subjects and stuck in one or two.
Parents are welcome to join the first conversation. After that, we speak mostly to the student, because at this age students learn best when they own the plan.
Teenagers want some say. Let your child choose the order of subjects in the plan, and agree one fixed study time each day. Ask "What can I do to help?" instead of "Why is your mark low?"
