Moving from BGCSE to IGCSE?

Some students who found BGCSE hard choose IGCSE instead. We help you see if it fits you, then prepare you for the Cambridge papers.

Can I move from BGCSE to IGCSE?

Often yes, but it depends on your school or exam centre and your subjects. IGCSE is a Cambridge qualification with its own papers, entry through a registered centre and exam series in June and November. We test where you stand on IGCSE papers, explain the route honestly, and build a study plan. We cannot promise a result.

Why some students switch

  • IGCSE papers reward a clear way of answering, so technique can lift marks
  • Many subjects offer core and extended levels, so the work fits your level
  • Coursework, oral or practical parts spread the marks in some subjects
  • Past papers and examiner reports are open to everyone

Think about before you switch

  • Entry is through a registered centre, with its own deadlines
  • The subject codes and the school you attend may limit your choice
  • Exam fees and dates are set by Cambridge and the centre
  • Universities and employers: ask what your plan needs
